帮助中心把 Tab 单列出来了
「Your OpenAI API key applies only to supported local Chat and Agent requests. It does not apply to: Cursor Tab and autocomplete」。同一段还点了 Auto model selection、Cloud or Background Agents、Automations、CLI、API/SDK、Cursor-provided or proprietary models。
所以即便于本地 Agent 里启用了某个 OpenAI 模型，敲代码时的幽灵补全仍不是 Astra。把 Key 填进 Settings → Models，不会出现「Tab 模型 = gpt-6-astra」的官方开关。
Cloud Agent 同样吃不到你的 Key
云端会话、后台 Agent、Automations 走 Cursor 自己的供应。Astra 的 computer use 在 ChatGPT / Codex / API 里，和 Cursor Cloud Agent 桌面不是同一条管道。Cloud Agent 的桌面能力见 Computer Use。

补全今天实际靠什么
Cursor Models 池是 Grok 4.6、Grok 4.5、Composer 2.5，文档写 Pro / Pro Plus / Ultra 含不限量 Tab。Start（印度）也含 Cursor Models 池的补全，不含 Other Models。这些句子里没有 OpenAI，更没有 GPT-6。
有人把 ChatGPT 桌面的补全手感拿来对比 Cursor Tab，那是两个产品。Astra 上线改变的是 ChatGPT / API，不是 Cursor 补全后端。帮助中心还写：以上指导是方向性的，请以 Cursor 文档为最新信息。即便 Cursor 日后改 Tab 后端，也需要它自己发文档，不能从 GPT-6 发布页推断。
想用 Astra 写代码该开哪扇窗
本地仓库对话：等 BYOK 或网关真正能启用 gpt-6-astra（价目表尚未列入）。或者装 Codex IDE 扩展，用 ChatGPT 订阅或 API Key，它不依赖 Cursor 自己的 picker。Tab 保持原样，不要为了 Astra 去关补全。扩展面板和 Tab 可以同时开，互不改对方的模型。
